‘You Can Panic Now’ is a blog about television in the 21st century, with thoughts about entertainments and interaction of all kinds. At the moment it also functions as a behind-the-scenes look into Unreal City: a multimedia adventure told online. Expect thoughts on development, game design, writing and playing, focusing on Unreal City but also talking about narratives and multimedia storytelling in more general terms.
It’s run by Meg Jayanth, a twenty-something, media-saturated film-student arts-graduate cliche who was genetically engineered by a marketing company in the late 80s. Alternatively: she enjoys stories, and the third person. As you can see, she’s currently trying to work out how to play for a living.
